Solutions tailored to your daily life
While exoskeletons were initially associated with industrial environments, their adoption by individuals is experiencing rapid growth. These technologies now make it possible to:
-
improve daily comfort and mobility,
-
reduce chronic pain,
-
get back to activities you are passionate about without limitations,
-
and even extend independence as you age.
JapetW+: a medical device to support you
The JapetW+, certified as a medical device (ISO 13485), is one of the most advanced examples of an exoskeleton designed for individuals.
Designed with the help of spine surgeons and ergonomists, it acts as an intelligent lumbar shock absorber while maintaining the same level of muscle activity. Used to relieve lower back pain, it enables many people to live better every day.
At ExoHub, we are currently exploring solutions to make the JapetW+ partially reimbursable by certain Belgian health insurers, in order to facilitate access and reduce the cost for users.
Exoskeletons for other uses
Exoskeletons are not limited to the lower back. Our Plum and Plum Light models, for example:
-
focus on support for the shoulders and arms,
-
are lightweight, comfortable, and suitable for extended use,
-
have already won over people who want to pursue their passions without physical constraints.
🎨 For example: painters use the Plum to reduce shoulder fatigue during their creative sessions.
🎹 And as the following photo shows, musicians are also adopting it, especially for demanding instruments such as the piano, where the Plum Light makes it possible to play longer without pain or muscle tension.
